Lando Norris survived an incident-packed race in the rain to win Formula 1’s British Grand Prix on Sunday and cut the gap to his teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri.

McLaren driver Lando Norris won the British Grand Prix, largely due to the penalty that was given to Oscar Piastri, and now the Briton has been warned by his team principal for the remainder of the season.

Moments later the decision came, and Piastri was hit with a ten-second penalty. He served that penalty on a subsequent pit stop and finished second, but behind Norris. That result saw his McLaren teammate inch closer to him in the F1 Drivers’ Championship standings, and left Piastri frustrated after the checkered flag.
