EA has pulled back the curtain on the next mainline entry in its long-running Battlefield franchise, explaining a new development plan involving four different studios, as well as a new way for players to hop in early to provide feedback on what the teams are making.

EA has narrowed the release date for Battlefield 6 and has indicated that a launch before the end of 2025 is likely.
