Former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton surrendered to federal authorities Friday after being indicted on 18 counts related to the improper handling of classified materials.

John Bolton, Donald Trump's former national security adviser, has arrived at a federal court to face charges of mishandling classified information.

Abbe Lowell, Bolton’s attorney, told HuffPost on Thursday that the “underlying facts in this case were investigated and resolved years ago.”
