In a letter to senators, Caroline Kennedy etches a damning sketch of her cousin, the latest condemnation Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has received from members of his family.

If confirmed by the Senate, Kennedy would head the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which oversees many of the country’s health agencies, from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Caroline Kennedy urged senators to oppose the nomination of her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

"He put baby chickens and mice in the blender," she says of her cousin, chosen by President Trump to head HHS.

On abortion, Kennedy wrote last May that he trusted women to make their own decisions and that the procedure should be unrestricted until the baby could be viable outside the womb.
