A traffic stop that spiraled into a high-speed police chase and a shootout with the suspect was caught on camera in Houston. NBC News' George Solis reports on the new video of the incident that police say involved a 33-year-old man who was wanted on a felony theft warrant.

Police say three officers were hurt in an incident after a driver attempted to flee a traffic stop in the city's Kensington section early Thursday.

The driver, who police said appeared to be under the influence, pulled away while one officer's arm was still in his car, reports said.

Police say two people were shot by a Border Patrol agent in Portland, Oregon, during a traffic stop and that the man and woman were both hospitalized with their conditions unknown. The Department of Homeland Security is saying the federal agent who fired shots was “fearing for his life and safety.
