Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has long-reigned at the top of Switch sales charts and, as of last quarter, has sold 67.35 million units.

Rather than an actual race track, this area could instead be part of a hub world where 24 racers (double the number seen in Mario Kart 8, incidentally) can pull up to the starting line.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been around for a bit now, having been on a couple of Nintendo consoles. Some players might not realize that there are many things that can be unlocked in the game.

The track is completely unfamiliar for one, but the karts themselves look totally different too, and seem to be in a sliiiiightly different style to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
