Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers captured a win 120-119 Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers in the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Doncic missed a floater to win the game, but it was tapped in by LeBron James just before the buzzer.

Luka Doncic scored 34 points and had seven rebounds and seven assists in the Lakers' 120-119 win over the Pacers Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Fortunately for him, James was there to tip it in as time expired. After the game, Doncic expressed his appreciation for the four-time MVP, saying he was grateful James had the confidence in him to take the shot—and even more thankful that he was there to clean up the miss.

The Lakers are back in action on Wednesday in another road game as they head to Indianapolis to battle the 42-29 Indiana Pacers. There was some doubt surrounding LeBron James' status for the contest as the NBA's all-time leading scorer continues to deal with a lingering groin injury.
