The Kansas City Chiefs (5-5) and the Indianapolis Colts (8-2) are set to face off at noon at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs' comeback spoiled early defensive dominance from Indy, which picked off Mahomes on K.C.'s first offensive series after Laiatu Latu tipped and snagged a pass from No. 15. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak by the Chiefs, elevating Mahomes' squad to 6-5 on the year.
Even this might not be enough. Even the Chiefs know this. They own almost none of the tiebreakers that’ll be essential a few weeks from now, when the playoff picture in the AFC really shakes out. The offense is still barely a whisper of what it used to be. Patrick Mahomes, for all the magic, seems to throw a brutal interception every week.
The Chiefs head to Dallas on Thursday for a Thanksgiving matchup against a Cowboys team coming off an emotional, come-from-behind win over the rival Eagles. Win and Kansas City is 7-5 and feeling good; lose and it's back to .500.
