Josh Hawley decries Trump pardons on Jan. 6 anniversary
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) sought to keep a low profile on the 5th anniversary of the Jan. 6 riots despite raising a fist in solidarity with the rioters in 2021. On Tuesday, Hawley told HuffPost's Igor Bobic that he had no plans to meet with the pardoned rioters who were marching to the Capitol.
But Maduro loyalists in the high court Saturday, citing another provision of the constitution, declared Maduro's absence “temporary” meaning there is no election requirement.
