PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have been waiting for further updates on superstar pass-rusher T.J. Watt. The 31-year-old outside linebacker was hospitalized after suffering pain in his lungs, but their head coach did not have any other updates when he spoke to the media.

J.J. Watt on Friday said his younger brother, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt, had to undergo surgery after experiencing a partially collapsed lung following "a dry needling treatment session” at the team’s facility in Western Pennsylvania.

Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt underwent surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung sustained during a dry-needling session and will miss Monday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

"My understanding is [Watt] is expected to play again this season," Rapoport said.
