The Colorado high school shooting suspect, who was identified as a 16-year-old student, was believed to be "radicalized by some extremist network,” officials said.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), firefighters responded to a residential structure fire in the 1100 block of Harrison Road at approximately 12:19 a.m. on July 5. Five people inside were able to escape, but the home was deemed a total loss, police said.
