Nobody likes receiving calls from No Caller ID numbers, as they're usually scams. But there might be cases where you'll want your iPhone or Android to hide your phone number to protect your privacy.
If you receive unwanted calls to your phone number on an iPhone, texts or iMessages in the Messages app, or unwanted incoming calls in FaceTime, you can block them by phone number or email address.
You can block or unblock a number on an Android phone using the built-in Phone app's "Blocked numbers" menu.
