Police in Aurora were conducting a seizure of stolen vehicles and stolen vehicle parts when they discovered horses, goats and chickens on the property.

The Aurora Police Department (APD) asked for the public’s help in finding a vehicle they say was involved in a deadly hit and run Friday morning.

According to The Denver Gazette, the first furlough day landed on Friday, Jan. 16, with three more on the calendar for April 10, July 2, and Dec. 24. Officials told reporters they chose those dates to blunt service disruptions and to limit the financial hit for staff.
