A.J. Brown was not on the practice field at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday as the Eagles began their on-field preparations for their divisional-round playoff game vs. the Los Angeles Rams. No, he didn’t play hooky and go to a Barnes & Noble.

The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver went viral for reading a book on the sidelines during his team's 22–10 wild card round win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. The book also went viral, and Brown has explained why he was reading it during the game. Brown seems to be frustrated that he's still having to answer questions about it.

But every head coach has different expectations of their players, particularly on what they should be doing on the sidelines. Yet, don’t expect Eagles coach Nick Sirianni to stop Brown from reading that book. In fact, he’s known about it for a long time now.
