Vanderbilt football QB Diego Pavia has catapulted into conversations for the Heisman and even fueling College Football Playoff chatter.

Diego Pavia has garnered a lot of attention in the last 365 days. From beating No. 1 ranked Alabama to now leading the Commodores into the top 10, Pavia is quickly becoming a Vanderbilt football legend and he hasn’t even left Nashville yet. Thanks to his latest feat in beating previously No. 10 ranked LSU, he’s now entered the Heisman conversation.

On Saturday's win against the Tigers, Pavia hit the Heisman pose after a 21-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter to put Vanderbilt up 31-21. Pavia has had an exceptional season so far as the Commodores have already clinched bowl eligibility.

The Commodores took Missouri to two overtimes last season and they're favored as they return home to Nashville. They're coming off of a 31-24 win against LSU, which was their second triumph against a top-15 team -- LSU ranked 10th entering the Week 8 slate -- this season.
