The Larry H. Miller Family, in conjunction with Miller Sports & Entertainment, has acquired a controlling interest in MLS side Real Salt Lake and the NWSL's Utah Royals.

The Miller family’s deal to purchase Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals for roughly $600 million marks the end of a short-lived period of control for David Blitzer. Blitzer bought the MLS club in 2022,

Five years after selling the Utah Jazz, the Larry H. Miller Co. has taken control of the Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals soccer clubs. New York-based private equity investor David Blitzer will transition into a minority ownership role with the clubs.
