Steward scored 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting, saying after the game that he wanted to seize the opportunity to show what he can do.

Dalton Knecht compiled 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Darius Bazley led the bench with 10 points, four rebounds and three blocks.

Jackson Rowe, Isaiah Mobley and Blake Hinson led the Warriors to a 89-84 win over the Lakers to open the California Classic Summer League.
