BOSTON — Jim Montgomery acknowledged that he wanted to win Thursday’s game against his former Bruins team. Not because of the emotions behind it, but because the game mattered to the Blues coach. That didn’t happen, though. St. Louis fell, 5-2, to the Bruins.
The Boston Bruins are set to face off against the St. Louis Blues on Dec. 4. After losing to the Detroit Red Wings by a 5-4 final score in their last game, the Bruins will be looking to bounce back against St. Louis. Based on their morning skate lines, the Bruins' lineup will have some small changes on the backend.
The Blues have been dealt another brutal injury, as Nathan Walker is out at least eight weeks with an upper-body injury.
