South Africa have already sealed their place in this year’s World Test Championship (WTC) final ahead of the second and final test against Pakistan at Newlands on Friday but will want to keep their momentum going in the longest format.

South Africa's cricket team has qualified for the World Test Championship final after defeating Pakistan, securing their sixth consecutive Test victory. However, coach Shukri Conrad and captain Temba Bavuma stress the need for improvement.

South Africa were 32 runs shy of winning the first test while Pakistan needed only two wickets for success as the contest headed to a thrilling finish on the fourth day at Centurion on Sunday.

The ICC has fined Pakistan players 25 percent of their match fee and also docked the team five World Test Championship points for maintaining a slow over-rate against South Africa in the second test at Newlands.
