Winter Storm Warning in effect as measurable snow falls in Philadelphia region. Here's the forecast.
Through midnight, we'll see scattered to widespread precipitation moving in and transitions to all snow. South Jersey and the Shore will transition last. Snow continues through early Sunday morning with the heaviest snow between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
A winter storm will bring snow to the Philadelphia region tonight, followed by a blast of dangerous cold lasting through early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service reported, early Sunday, that Philly saw about 3.6 inches of snow, while some parts of the region saw as much as 8 inches.
Snow should be sled-able and could top the 3.1 inches that fell on Feb. 11-12. It's likely to stick around a few days.
