Astros second baseman Jose Altuve and Dodgers utilityman Mookie Betts led the field of Silver Slugger honorees, which included seven first-time winners.

Royals SS Bobby Witt Jr. and C Salvador Perez were both awarded with the Silver Slugger Award. This is Witt’s first time receiving the honor and Perez’s fifth. Perez is the ninth player to win at least five Louisville Silver Slugger Awards as a catcher, putting him among a prestigious group.
