Shreyas Iyer injury update October 28: BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia shares scan report
Shreyas Iyer, India's ODI vice captain, is recovering from a serious spleen injury sustained during the 3rd ODI against Australia. Iyer remains under medical supervision.
India batsman Shreyas Iyer is in stable condition and recovering well from a spleen injury, Twenty20 captain Suryakumar Yadav said on Tuesday.
Although Iyer’s removal from ICU is an encouraging sign, full recovery from a spleen-related injury can take several weeks. For now, both medical experts and the Indian camp are relieved that the worst appears to have passed, but the next phase of his rehabilitation will determine when he can safely return to the field.
