Sean “Diddy” Combs’ release date from prison has been set, more than three months after a jury delivered a mixed verdict in his federal trial.

Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison by a federal judge after he was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

His attorneys last week filed a notice of appeal to the Federal District Court in New York, appealing both Combs' conviction and sentence.
