Friday night's College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl between Ohio State and Texas is expected to be played as scheduled despite the impending snowstorm that will impact the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Texas is coming off a 39-31 double-overtime win in the Peach Bowl against the Arizona State Sun Devils. They also defeated the Clemson Tigers in the first round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, Ohio State has looked like the best team in the CFP through two rounds, beating the Tennessee Volunteers 44-17 and the Oregon Ducks 41-21 in the Rose Bowl.

It has been quite the ride through two games in the College Football Playoff for Ohio State with complete and total domination against Tennessee and Oregon. After the poor performance to end the season, some may have had a sliver of hope that the Buckeyes could make a run, but nobody could have seen this coming.
