Splatoon 3's 10.0.0 update makes the game look and run better on Switch 2, and adds a wealth of new weapons and a classic map.

So much so, in fact, that the series' first spinoff, Splatoon Raiders, was just announced today. It's on the way in addition to a free Splatoon 3 content update for Switch 2 owners as well. First up, a spinoff game called Splatoon Raiders is in the works for the Switch 2, though there aren’t a lot of details. The new game will take players to an area known as the Spirhalite Islands, investigating some kind of mystery alongside the fictional pop group Deep Cut.
