Embattled South Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun has personally addressed a growing scandal about the nature of his relationship with late actress Kim Sae-ron for the first time, in a closely watched saga that has roiled the country’s entertainment industry.

South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun broke down in tears while denying allegations that he dated actress Kim Sae-ron when she was underage.

Following Kim Sae Ron's death in February 2025, allegations surfaced that Kim Soo Hyun dated her when she was underage. Kim Soo Hyun denied these claims, stating their relationship began when she was of legal age.
