Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton hit his 439th career home run, a two-run shot to dead center that left the bat at 115 mph, off of right-hander Jon Gray in the top of the fourth inning. Gray, in his fourth game back from a broken wrist, buckled down after Stanton’s home run to pitch five innings of two-run ball and keep the Rangers within a run.
