A Pennsylvania man has been charged with attempted murder, terrorism and other offenses after a fire at the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg forced Gov. Josh Shapiro and his family to evacuate the home early Sunday morning,

Cody Balmer, 38, surrendered to Pennsylvania State Police to face charges on Sunday. Investigators are still piecing together a motive for the attack.

A 38-year-old man was in custody and will face attempted homicide and aggravated arson charges after setting a fire overnight at Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's residence, state authorities said at a press conference at the governor's mansion in Harrisburg on Sunday.
