As snow, freezing rain and sleet make their way through North Texas this Thursday and early Friday during the winter storm, most schools and offices are closing their doors, but many other services will remain open.

A winter storm in Texas is causing widespread flight cancellations, particularly in Dallas, a major airline hub.

A Winter Storm Warning has been posted for the impending winter weather that’s expected to move in Thursday. While it may begin as a rain/sleet/snow mix, snow will overspread much of North Texas through the day and continue Thursday night. The snow will begin to accumulate heading into Thursday night when snow may be heavy at times.
