The first inning didn't go well for Garrett Crochet. But he made some adjustments after allowing two homers and shut down the Dodgers the rest of the way.

Garrett Crochet allowed two solo home runs in the top of the first, but then pitched five shutout innings to help the Boston Red Sox defeat the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 Saturday night. Crochet (12-4) limited the Dodgers to two runs on eight hits in six innings.
