NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - ESPN’s premier college football show is headed for Nashville this weekend. Following Vanderbilt’s big win over the LSU Tigers on Saturday, ESPN took notice and is bringing the College GameDay show to FirstBank Stadium.

ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to Nashville for Week 9 of the college football season ahead of Vanderbilt’s game with Missouri. It will be the second time GameDay broadcasts from Nashville and the first since 2008 when Vanderbilt played Auburn.

One of college football's most wide open seasons in recent memory will continue in Nashville, Tennessee this coming Saturday with a matchup between top 15 teams Vanderbilt and Missouri. The Commodores and their polarizing quarterback Diego Pavia will square off against Missouri stars Beau Pribula and Ahmad Hardy with potential SEC Title Game implications.

And yesterday, it was announced that College GameDay would be headed to Music City for only the second time ever, and the first since 2008 when then-19 ranked Vanderbilt took on the #13 Auburn Tigers.
