Family members say a 10-year-old girl has been found dead after she was swept away by quick rising flood waters in Brenham on Monday.

Devah Woods, the 10-year-old girl who was swept away in floodwaters, was found dead 18 hours after the search and rescue efforts began. Her body was recovered on Tuesday, May 6, in Brenham, Texas, according to the Brenham Fire Department.
