BOSTON — The Bruins ’ second line shined on Thursday in Boston’s 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues. Pavel Zacha scored twice — including a buzzer-beater on the power play in the second period — and Viktor Arvidsson had two points in the victory. While Casey Mittelstadt didn’t have a point, he did have three shots on goal.

The Bruins have announced that forward Casey Mittelstadt has been added to their active roster after having not played since Nov. 6 against the Ottawa Senators due to injury. This is certainly good news, as the 27-year-old is a key part of Boston's forward group. In 15 games this season, he has recorded four goals and nine points.

Morgan Geekie has become someone the Bruins can rely on. Even more so with David Pastrnak out of the Bruins lineup.

Goalie will report to the Providence Bruins for the remainder of this season on an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO).
