After regaining the belt against Alexa Grasso in September, Shevchenko (25-4-1 MMA, 14-3-1 UFC) showed she is capable of fending off the next wave of contenders when she turned back outspoken challenger Fiorot (12-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) by unanimous decision in the co-headliner at Bell Centre in Montreal.

The Kyrgyz champion defeated the favored Manon Fiorot (48-47, 48-47, 48-47) at UFC 315 in her first title defense since reclaiming her belt at the conclusion of her trilogy with Alexa Grasso.

Valentina Shevchenko successfully defended her flyweight title with a knockdown and breaking Manon Fiorot’s nose early in the fight to secure the victory in the UFC 315 co-main event.
