Lions head coach Dan Campbell provided further updates on several injured players ahead of the team's training camp practice in Allen Park on Tuesday.

The Detroit Lions had a magical 2024 season, going 15-2, winning the NFC North, and securing the first-round bye in the postseason before crashing and burning in the Divisional Round against the Washington Commanders.

Two more defensive players had to leave practice early on Thursday, this time it was Terrion Arnold and Derrick Barnes.

Training camp opens for the fans on July 26. For those of you attending camp, keep an eye on how these players are looking. Most of them have had an injury or a surgery with little to no game action since. Most of these players are unlikely to see a snap of preseason game action, so what you see in camp is all we get until Week 1 at Lambeau.

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell provided an update on the status of second-year running back Sione Vaki and defensive tackle Roy Lopez ahead of practice Tuesday. Vaki is dealing with a hamstring injury, while Lopez got stepped on during practice on Monday.

"I’ve got a little thing on my board, ‘You can’t let anything sway your identity or what you want to become. You can’t let the fear of injury change the way you prepare.’"
