Welcome to our Urgent Care Center in Downey. We accept Medicare, Medi-Cal, and all major insurances including PPO and HMO. AME Medical Group is structured to provide urgent and managed care services to community. AME's responsible and efficient office staff allows physicians to focus exclusively on performing evaluations, articulating their opinions and eliminating the burden of administrative responsibilities. We give same-day appointment to all our patients and the wait-time is 30 minutes or less. For your convenience, we are open until 8PM on weekdays & we are open on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. As an urgent care center, we can provide many of the same basic medical services as your doctor's office, but with extended hours and lower out-of-pocket costs. Staffed with licensed providers, our urgent care centers are ideal for non-emergency care when your doctor is not available.
