We didn't plan to stop here but stopped to see the view, found some black berries and the kids wanted to stay and play. They love playing with the driftwood houses, this was the perfect spot! Blackbe…Full review by taraoneil

I love Lone Ranch. You can walk a long ways at low tide and there are lots of little areas to explore and little critters to see. Full review by eliz375

I'm wondering about this beach's accessibility for someone using a walker. We visited Harris State Beach, which is listed as "accessible", but the ramp that zig-zags down to the beach is very long. By the time we got down to the beach I was exhausted. I do appreciate that they made it accessible, but am hoping to find a more accessible beach somewhere along the southern Oregon coast. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
A:
You cannot get to the beach but can get to some picnic tables. Harris Beach offers access to beach directly but then you hit the sand not even easy for us without walkers.
Q:
Dog Friendly?
A:
Yes.
Q:
Can you camp at this beach?
A:
No camping at Lone Ranch, but there is at Harris Beach a few miles to the South.
